After gaining valuable work experience in the petrochemical industry (SABIC) and inspired by bottom-up self-assembly of nanomaterials, I decided to return to academia and pursue a Ph.D. in Chemistry. I received my B.Eng. (Imperial College) and M.Sc. (KAUST), both majoring in Materials Science and Engineering. My technical background is focused on polymer blends and composites for high charge storage capacitors and non-volatile memory. Attracted to the unique research infrastructure and interdisciplinary research at the University of Alberta, I joined the Buriak group to explore future patterning technique of memristors. Science on the side, I mainly enjoy spending valuable time with my wife and kids, playing football, and learning song covers on guitar.
